ACH Weber Grilling Sweepstakes
OFFICAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING
1. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the United States and the
District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of May 1, 2008. Void
where prohibited by law. This promotion is intended for viewing in the United
States only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to United States
law. You are not authorized to participate in the Sweepstakes if you are not
located within and a legal resident of the United States.
2. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning 12:00:01 AM (CST) on May 1, 2008 log on to
www.gourmetburgersweeps.com and follow the onscreen instructions to enter.
Entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM (CST) on September 30, 2008. Limit
one (1) entry per person, household or email address, per day. Sponsor will
not verify receipt of entries. Automated entries are prohibited and any use of
such automated devices or programs will cause disqualification.
3. DRAWING: Winners will be determined in a random drawing held on or about October
15, 2008 from all eligible entries received. Decisions of the judges are final
in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Potential prize winners (subject to
verification) will be notified by mail, telephone (no messages will be left)
and/or email. Odds of winning a prize depend on number of eligible entries
received. Limit one prize per family/household.
4. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): One (1) Grand Prize: a Weber Q 300
Series grill. ARV: $300. Ten (10) First Prizes – a 1 year supply of Weber Grill
Creations including Seasonings, Marinades and Grinders. ARV: $70.00 each. Fifty
(50) Second Prizes – a Fuji Film Quick Snap Camera and one FUJIFILM Superia 400
speed film-4 packs. ARV: $39.96 each. Fifty (50) Third Prizes – a Jarlsberg
Coupon with a value up to $5.00. ARV: $5.00 each. Total ARV of All Prizes:
$3,248.
5. GENERAL RULES: Employees of Sponsor and their Promotional Participants, their
subsidiaries and affiliated companies, distributors, and their respective
advertising and promotion agencies, judging organization and their immediate
families or household members of each are not eligible. All federal, state or
other taxes on prizes are the winner's sole responsibility. All federal, state
and local laws and regulations apply. No cash redemption, substitution or
transfer of prize by winner permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to
substitute a prize of equal or greater value should a prize be unavailable at
the time of the prize award. Return of any prize/prize notification will result
in forfeiture of prize and selection of an alternate winner, time permitting. If
an eligible minor wins a prize, prize will be awarded in the name of his/her
parent or legal guardian. By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of
his/her name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without
additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By entering this
Sweepstakes, all entrants (or entrant’s parent/legal guardian if entrant is
deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) agree to be bound by the Official
Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor, the Promotional Participants,
it's promotional and advertising agencies, and all respective officers,
directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and
shall be held harmless by winners for any damage, loss or liability to person or
property, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the
acceptance or use of a prize or participation in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor and
the Promotional Participants are not responsible for any typographical or other
error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the
administration of the promotion. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall
be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated
with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorney's fees. Sponsor and its
advertising and promotion agencies are not responsible for lost, late,
illegible, misdirected or stolen entries or transmissions, or problems of any
kind whether mechanical, human or electronic. Sweepstakes entries are the
property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor reserves the right, in its
sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend part or all of this Sweepstakes
should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the
control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or
proper play of the Sweepstakes. In such event, Sponsor may award prizes in a
random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation
or suspension. Sponsor and its promotion and advertising agencies are not
responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind,
lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed
computer transmissions, whether caused by Sponsor, entrants or by any of the
equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any
technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions which
may damage a user's system or limit a participant's ability to participate in
the promotion. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the
Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that
said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the
Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices
(including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy,
abuse, or threaten any other entrants or Sponsor representatives.
CAUTION - ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE
LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND
CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK
REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY'S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE
FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
